Mötley Crüe’s MICK MARS Attacked Onstage
Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars was knocked over by a fan who jumped onstage during the band’s concert in Canada last night.
Mars suffers from a rare condition called ankylosing spondylitis, which fuses his bones together. Though the disease usually stops spreading when a person is in their 30s, Mars has a rare form of the disease where it continues spreading up his back into his brainstem.
Poor Mick. This was on his birthday too.

I’m glad that Mick Mars is doing okay. I have AS and that kind of hit could literally fracture the spine. Thanks for bringing awareness to ankylosing spondylitis. btw, the disease is incurable and doesn’t stop in the 30s, it’s life long. It’s also not that rare. 2.7 million Americans have some form of Spondyloarthritis, that’s more than rheumatoid arthritis. AS is more common than Multiple Sclerosis, Cystic Firborsis and Lou Gehrig’s disease – combined. more information can be found at this non-profit: http://www.stopAS.org. Thanks again.
